Der Auftritt fand vor einem mitfiebernden Publikum im legendären Hammersmith Apollo in London statt. Die Liveaufnahme der Show wird am 20. September 2019 auf DVD+2CD, Blu-ray+2CD und 3x 180g Vinyl veröffentlicht. Living The Dream Tour zeigt ein zweistündiges Live-Set mit Tracks von allen vier Slash-Soloalben. Darunter sind Songs wie "Call of the Wild" "Driving Rain", "World On Fire", "Anastasia" und eine Version von "Doctor Alibi“ vertreten, bei der Myles Kennedy Vocals von Bassisten Todd Kerns abgelöst werden. Slash reißt Hammersmith Apollo mit atemberaubenden Soli auf und lässt das Publikum seine Leidenschaft für Rock'n'Roll sehen, hören und fühlen. Neben der Show sind auf den DVD- und Blu-Ray-Versionen die Mini-Dokumentation „Live In London“, ein exklusives Interview mit Slash und Myles sowie Hintergrundmaterial der Living The Dream Tour enthalten.

von Oliver Kube (02.08.2019) „Sold out!” stand in dicken Lettern an den Türen des Hammersmith Apollo in London, als der Zylinder-Fetischist und seine Begleiter auf die Bühne stiegen. Am Abend dieses 20. Februar rockten Slash, der von Alter Bridge ausgeliehene Frontmann Myles Kennedy und ihre hochkarätige Band etwa zwei Stunden und hielten den altehrwürdigen Saal dabei nahezu durchgehend am Kochen. Von den insgesamt 22 Nummern stammten sieben vom aktuellen Studioalbum „Living the dream“ - darunter so großartig abgehende Kracher wie „Driving rain“, das gnadenlos nach vorne stampfende „Mind your manners“ und der Heavy-Blues „Serve you right“. Die Musiker hatten sichtbar Spaß an den Tracks, der sich umgehend auf die ausgelassen feiernde Meute zu ihren Füßen übertrug. Auch das mit jeder Menge Enthusiasmus gespielte restliche Programm - bestehend aus Nummern der gesamten Slash-Solokarriere plus dem Guns N‘ Roses-Klassiker „Nightrain“ - sorgte für exzellente Stimmung, die nun in Bild und Ton wunderbar lebendig eingefangen wurde. Fast als wäre man selbst dabei gewesen.
