Über ein Jahr lang tourten die Progressive-Metal-Legenden Dream Theater um die Welt, um ihr erfolgreiches Studioalbum "A Dramatic Turn Of Events" der beeindruckenden Fangemeinde in 35 Ländern zu präsentieren. Zum Ende der Tour im August 2012 wurde das Material für diesen Live- Release an zwei Abenden im titelgebenden Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, aufgenommen. Neben dem gesamten neuen Album präsentierte die Ausnahmeband zusätzlich einen repräsentativen Querschnitt ihres bisherigen Schaffens. Wie erwartet, zeigte sich das südamerikanische Publikum von seiner besten Seite und huldigte ihren Idolen von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde. Mit einer Spielzeit von über drei Stunden wurden sie nicht enttäuscht.
