»Gimme Some Truth. – The Ultimate Mixes« gibt es als CD und Doppel-CD, als Limited Edition mit Doppel-CD plus Blu-ray Audio, als Doppel-LP und als Limited Edition mit vier LPs.
Die Sammlungen widmen sich den Höhepunkten von Lennons Solokarriere. Die Limited Editions umfassen jeweils 36 Songs. Mit dabei sind Klassiker wie »Give Peace A Chance«, »Instant Karma!«, »Power To The People«, »Imagine«, »(Just Like) Starting Over«, »Woman« und »Jealous Guy«.
Alle Titel der »Gimme Some Truth.«-Kollektion wurden von Grund auf neu abgemischt, um eine Wiedergabe von höchster Qualität zu gewährleisten. Die Produktion übernahmen Yoko Ono Lennon und Sean Ono Lennon.
Die Blu-ray Audio enthält zudem die Ultimate Mixes in Studioqualität (24-bit/96kHz HD Stereo) sowie in 5.1 Surround Sound und in Dolby Atmos.
